David Kemp came to Hickory Valley Baptist Church in January 2016 after 18 years of teaching in the Bible Department at Tennessee Temple University. He enjoys teaching the truth of the Bible, whether in a verse-by-verse study of a particular book of the Bible or in a topical study of one of the important doctrines of the Bible. David and his wife Carolyn were married in 1982. They have three grown children — Melody, Angela, and James — and one granddaughter, Ali. In his spare time, David enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and playing the piano.
